"Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" is an initiative taken by the MHRD whose motive was to pair different states and Union Territories of India and to ensure that they carry out a structured engagement with one another in the sphere of language, literature, cuisine, festivals, cultural events, tourism, etc. The EBSB club of NIT Rourkela is registered under the Literary and Cultural Society of Student Activity Centre (SAC), NIT Rourkela. According to the guidelines of MHRD, NIT Rourkela is paired up with VNIT Nagpur for the same.
The main objective of our club is to celebrate the Unity in Diversity of our Nation and maintain and strengthen the fabric of traditionally existing emotional bonds between the people of our Country. Our mission is to promote the spirit of national integration through a deep and structured engagement between all Indian States and Union Territories. To showcase the rich heritage and culture, customs, and traditions of either State to enable people to understand and appreciate India's diversity, thus fostering a sense of shared identity.

The BOTANICAL GARDEN Of Kolkata has been the house of the world’s largest tree: A Banyan Tree whose circumference is more than 330 meters
